Transit tipper brake problems

Vacuum pump can be checked by pumping the brakes with the engine off until they go hard, then turning the engine on and seeing if the pedal goes back to how it normally is

May be worth checking between the servo and master cylinder I had a flake of rust jam the rod on the master stopping it returning causing the same symptoms only found it when I went to change master after new hoses etc. this was on my 2000 reg smiley.

 

Was just enough to cause fronts to start to bind heat did the rest would be fine once parked up and ccooled down and checked but a few miles driving loaded would soon have them binding.

Van now sorted. Change flexi hoses on both sides and problem now gone. Thanks for all the advice very helpful. All I need now is to get the windscreen fixed and i'm back on the road
