The Predator 38 can get through a 26 inch gap (a small door frame) but it is tracked so it is not appropriate for going through a house. The Predator 350 can be carried through a house by 2 men and weighs just 125kg.

Any idea what they're like to re sharpen and hiw often the cutters need replacing?

I know it depends on how bad you smash them up but with normal soil conditions do they last ?

Not sure on the sharpening issue, I do know if you plow through rocks with it you'll be wanting to change teeth before you've finished the first stump.

It is a good tool, but dont treat it like a big grinder, it requires a slightly different way of working.

Thanks

That's pretty much what I guessed would be the case

We have one, they are good when you really need it but the cutters ( even the extra hard rock ones) loose their edge in no time, they very labour intensive on the arms and chest and give a lot of vibration through the trigger. Think hard before buying one do you really get that many inaccessible stumps to warrant one? Maybe it would be easier to sub those ones out to stumpbusters or similar. End of the day it's your money. It certainly was not one of our best investments we use the cammon whenever we can.

It's about 110kg or so I believe, it's not light but 2 people can carry it up steps and it fits through internal doorways and around the bottoms of stairs. It's very similar to the Rayco RG13
