I tried on on at the Arbshow...the most comfortable lid I've worn and the earmuffs were excellent....but at £186..they can keep it

 

Yeah £180 for a lid is ott. get anything good spike ?

They were selling like hot cakes at the arb show

But having just brought vertex vents inc earmuffs, clear and mesh visors and weigh less for almost £100 less I can't see why you would spend the extra money

But tree surgeons do like shinny stuff

Hmm undecided, the stein is good but i keep loosing screws and i find the muffs don't seal your ear enough.

not sure its the muffs with the plastic clip that had one screw holding the mount on ?.

 

maybe i should just buy some super glue

Yeah seems like your always having to look to make sure there all tight but still in my opinion the best hat on the market

I hated mine, even after i got yvonne from clarks to adjust it. For me it sat too high on my head and pinched the back of my neck. Ear defenders are only rated for a saw not chipper imo. The concept is great to be fair but it is very bulky and 1/3 larger than a petzl.
