Looking good, I made an attempt at a bear today but it didnt go too well haha, needless to say...it is now fire wood haha so not a total waste, how long did it take you?

Posted

Well, 2 short days, (1st day marking out and block carving, 2nd day detailing and staining) My first attempt ended up as fire wood so don't worry.

This time I took smaller cuts out of it so not to ruin it and took 90% of the time marking it out...

Lookin very very:thumbup1: good ... is he as heavy as he looks ?? Do you do what I do and try and calculate what size piece of wood will not quite give you another hernia ????

Many thanks friars...I think he's heavier but then again I was completely K.O'd at the end. It was the biggest piece I had around and thought...bugger it, its now or never....
