It would be possible to put a third seat in but it would probably invalidate your insurance. The transmission tunnel is wide so there would be no legroom either.

If it was an old Landry made when 3seats were allowed then it would be ok.

HI MATT im told by land rover no as theres a new law come re lap belts thanks jon :thumbup:

 

 

Correct. It is illegal to fit a third front seat in current (or recent) Defenders since the seats must have type-approved 3-point belts.
