I was wondering if anyone here has done the test , ideally i would like to do the tree technician but just dont have the compulsory 4 months to spare and enough understanding of the german language. i had a look at the criteria and i think i can get away without doing the course and jump straight into the test paper. it looks pretty basic but over here its all about papers and quals and the test i can sit in english.

any ideas or info would be appreciated guys.:thumbup1:

you cant jump to ETT without doing the ETW first, although I think that there is another German equitant and also the time frame. there are some courses in Sweden run in English and taking the exam in English should not be a problem which ever country you take it in

i think its possible if you have adequate experience as one of the lads at work jumped straight into it but just the time thing is an issue for me. thanks for the info though judge:thumbup1:.

adequate 'experience' is not enough to jump straight in, you must have an ETW or equivalent and held those for 3 years before you can do ETT/ Fachagrarwirt exam
