We are looking at getting a stump grinder a tracked one with the hydraulics, but want it as compact as possible.

Which ones would you recommend in case I have missed any.

Many thanks

only just been given the task of finding one but have to find one that is not manual side to side and needs to be tracked, so compact would be good.

predator 50 rx, ours is fantastic so far, easy to use, maintain, easy tooth change, remote is good, or try there quick selling p38

Predator P28/P38 is the only way to go if you want a compact tracked fully hydraulic machine at 26 inches wide. The cutter wheel ram can be lifted upright for narrow 90 deg turns, just remove quick release pin, negotiate turn relocate pin and grind.

Some of the older machines can be unreliable when used roughly, so owner operators recommended. The new x series are meant to have all the major niggles sorted tho. :thumbup1:

Another vote for Predator 28RX. No problems with it here. If your prefer a petrol engine rather than diesel then go for the P38.
