Demo of the pimps getting sawn up, all usefull firewood. The pimps are used between the kindling and the large logs.

I have found that they spin all to easily when trying to saw up with a chainsaw in the log horse.

He price matched to a Atika log bench saw

Having used a few times now it is good for sawing up the pimps and save fatigue from vibration on the forearms from using a chainsaw. Plus you dont get two stroke whiff from using it.

I have no connection with the above company but i think they are worth promoting as they were willing to do a deal.

Seems a little limited in diameter of log it will deal with. 130mm. Would be better a little larger, but no doubt more expensive and might need 3 phase.

You maybe missing the point the log bench saw is really for small pimp stuff which roles in a saw horse when chainsawing. I do about 4 or 5 in a bunch at a time. This stuff used to go thro the chipper. The unit is a lot quieter than the chainsaw.

Two hours work this morning with the bench saw produced this lot ready to go, from a big pile of branches.
