Hi everyone, my rigging kit arrived today (along with my new 550xp). The kit comes complete with 2 multi-slings, one is 16mm diameter and the other is 19mm. Which should I use to attach the lowering device, and which to attach the pulley? Thanks is advance, Joe

If your unsure you really should not be using the stuff with out know the ins and out of it, I would advise getting your self on a rigging course or get some experiance on how to use it. One false move and the tree comes crashing to earth.

Check out Reg coats videos on it [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zxd8oqnAVLc]RC1000 & RC2000 Device Distributed by Bishop Company - YouTube[/ame] should help you out a little bit

I checked out that video, his videos are all great! I will be working with someone who has cs41 and is very experienced when I put it to use, I was just interested as to why one would need a thicker rope, maybe the 19mm for the lowering device as it will have more grip to choke the stem? Thanks for your concern though, my original question wasn't really clear with what I was getting up to! thanks, Joe.
