Further reading recommendations.

Hi,

 

I am new to the forum, been lurking for a while but thought I should best introduce myself. I am in the process of re-training to become a qualified arborist. Im looking for some advice on any books/publications that would help with my training/learning, and also anything that will be of use as a reference guide once actually out in the field.

 

I already have 'The Tree Climbers Companion' and a smaller, more concise version of BS3998.

 

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

a good start for a new budding arb is the research for amenity trees series (Lonsdale etc)

 

The VTA field guide (Mattheck)

 

The manual of wood decays (£20 from the arb asscoiation)

 

theres a few others but this is a good start and enough to start you off on a good heading
