how do you fill the bags???

 

the 2 wee guys in the picture, one plits,one fills the bags. then we lift with the crane and stack. it is a guddle just now because there is no room to work. that is all the room i have, a small triangle beside a container.:sad:

i;ll take some pics for you of an easier way

 

we are thinking of diferent ways, putting the splitter up high with boards to make the logs fall into bags, daft ideas like that.any help appreciated.

If you raise the spliter then you will have to manualy lift the un split logs up, which will be heavier than the split logs. If you have a naturaly sloping bit of ground use that to create the hight or lower the standing for the bag but watch out for the water table.

just keep the bags out of direct sunlight and rain or they will degrade

 

How long do you think these bags would last before falling apart if left outside full of logs all year, or would they not last that long even?

thats what we thought, the 2 boys are doing ok, it gives them something to do. they are doing approx 3 bags per hr. which i think isnt bad. and i am enjoying their banter around the yard. listening to,:001_smile: 2 18year olds adventures make me laugh.

There's a thread here somewhere with phone number but they have no stock at the moment. You needed to order 200 min. to get that price.
