putting the splitter up high with boards to make the logs fall into bags, daft ideas like that.any help appreciated.

 

 

If you raise the spliter then you will have to manualy lift the un split logs up, which will be heavier than the split logs. If you have a naturaly sloping bit of ground use that to create the hight or lower the standing for the bag but watch out for the water table.

thats what we thought, the 2 boys are doing ok, it gives them something to do. they are doing approx 3 bags per hr. which i think isnt bad. and i am enjoying their banter around the yard. listening to,:001_smile: 2 18year olds adventures make me laugh.
