Posts or firewood?

Got some 5 foot lengths by about 6" diameter of pine wood

Am I better selling them as they are now for posts or am I better cutting them up and selling as firewood?

I thought standard posts were 5'6''.

I may be wrong though.

Posts are 2-3" or 3-4" diameter and 5'6" or 6' long, so you have a pile of fire wood.

collecting it too far away transport will kill the value of it. The reason I ask about knots is too many and its a pain to get through a kindling machine. I guess you are a bit far away from me to make it worth it

Just out of interest how much would you have paid for it if it was on your door step?

Cant say I have noticed any knots in it but would have to have a closer look
