I have had a MacBook for about a year or so and find it great except for 1 issue.

I use Microsoft word for mac 2011

When I mail documents to people on windows odd characters get inserted where they shouldn't be.

So I have tried saving the document as a PDF and sending it which works well until the document is made up of portrait and landscape sections and then the PDF gets split into 3 parts, it's easy enough to stitch the PDF's back together but the margins also get pushed out of place and information gets pushed off the page and is lost.

Has anyone had similar issues

No idea if relevant or not but in Preferences, Compatibility. There is a check box for "check document for compatibility", this box is ticked on my version

Hope works out one way or another

Cheers

David
