I'm quite keen to get a day like this organised in Scotland. How did folk enjoy this year's workshop? Good turnout?

Cheers,

Sandy

There were around 25-30 people attending. It starts with a class room session in the morning about the history of rigging and the equipment. Moving onto swl and loading factors on a system (this was enlightening:thumbup1:)

After lunch there were practical demos, which for me personally were a little basic, and I would have preferred to see something more advanced/technical.

Still, it was a good day and worth the money, and we were lucky with the weather.

Kevin Moore who presented the day is a good talker and makes the day interesting.

Agree with it all Kevin was a great guy. And also agree about the practical demos being basic but I suppose time was against them?

The weather was lovely found a lovely little pub round the corner after.

Think he said there is one in September at same place also that this one was sold out in 2 days

Thanks for the replies, sounds like a worthwhile day. Could be worth having an event like this, then see if there's enough interest to get a more technical day sorted. We haven't had many AA events up here aimed at the climbing arborist in the last couple years.

Cheers,

Sandy
