Hi. Im leaving the army and im doing my cs30 cs31 cs38 cs39 and use of woodchippers and stumpgrinders through kingswood. Assuming I pass should I be applying for 2nd climber jobs and if so many say negotiable salary. I dont want to go too low or too high so what would be a realistic wage to ask for. I feel I have a lot to offer even thoygh im new to the industry I have a lot if relevant transferrable skills and life experience from being in the army. Any advice would be much appreciated.

75 a day for small firm, then maybe less at a bigger firm. I'd say go to a big firm first of all as you'll learn to climb quicker then be able to ask for more later on.
