I'm well jealous, how many miles do you reckon the engine will be good for.

 

Im on my 6th hilux since 1990. i take them to 250,000 plus miles and they still run like a gold watch when i sell them. I change the engine oil and filter every 5,000 miles. Bit like us really , the better you look after it the longer it will last

im not sure about 25-30 i would think i just fill it up i never check, mines has 170k on it, had a few problems with air in the fuel recently but thats it, walks its mot with minimal work. great choice for a work/pleasure vehicle:thumbup1:

Cracking truck mate ive got one same colour year but single cab she's just clicked onto 100k got Sahara 4x4 tyres on her. if you ever need any parts try milner off road or roughtrax I get all my parts from these suppliers and cant fault.

Hi mate it was this post that originally swayed me to a lux

i will drop oil and filter every 5 thousand, its not a big job and oil is a lot cheaper that steel!!!
