Top be honest I'm all shot out now ! There used to be a time when I would get all hyped up watching flight lines of pigeon setting up hides lugging decoys and such like . Not interested in killing anything any more really . been there done that for 30 or 40 years .

Agree completely I think the killing instinct disapears with age. I used to shoot alot of foxes but dont bother anymore just cannot see the point in shooting them then chucking them in the ditch but on the other hand I do like a rabbit for the pot but feel its more justified as its eaten if this makes any sense.

I do a fair bit of shooting and I do enjoy it. I justify it to myself as pest control.

I love shooting rabbits and pigeons but can't justify shooting foxes, so I don't. They do me no harm so I do them no harm.

I can understand the challenge of shooting woodcock and snipe but can't understand why people want to kill them just to prove they are a good shot. I can understand the enjoyment of being on the marsh at unsociable hours but don't understand shooting geese. By all accounts they don't even eat nice.

Each to their own of course, just my opinions.
