Anyone know of any recent prosecutions against landowners for failing to obtain a Felling Licence? Fines?

 

heard of one a couple of months back a farmer got an oak felled on his land it was over the five ton limit.

he recived a large fine and the guy that bought the timber also was charged and fined.

it happened in the dumfries area
