hi all, looking to expand firewood business in cheshire. Anybody got a supply of decent hardwood cords in or or around cheshire. Just arranged access on to a friends farm and renting large barn so storage not a problem. Cheers

hi Ed, roundwood would be ideal, but at the moment I'll take just about anything (within reason - ie pref not softwood!), any ideas or suggestions gratefully received, cheers

Nothing wrong with softwood. As Steve Bullman pointed out recently, people have become far to fussy about what kind of wood they want...

Sorry Ed, didn't mean to sound negative about softwood. Totally agree as well btw. I reckon the firewood buying public are going to have to get used to taking what ever is available
