Hi,

What is the current standard for recording veteran trees? I'm getting the idea that the Veteran Tree Initiative survey forms are no longer able to be input anywhere. Is the Ancient Tree Hunt the place for central recording now? I'm trying to record trees with different degrees of veteran features rather than ancient trees, so that I have both site records for my own use and the ability to externally record trees that will hopefully make up the 'next generation' of ancient trees. None of them are ancient, but got a few around 200yrs old with all sorts of interesting features. The Vet Tree Initiative form seemed relevant although I can find nowhere to input. The Ancient Tree Hunt form seems base purely on ancient trees, with no way of scoring features like with the VTI.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Adam

Hi David. Do you know where it's being sold/published? Is it a paper or a book?

Cheers. Sean

Waterstones and Amazon have it prelisted.

I'm sure the usual sources will stock it also.

I believe it will be in paperback.
