Rock log splitters any good (12 ton)

Hi guys, I'm looking to purchase a new log splitter and have seen this one

 

 

12 Ton Compact Log Splitter

 

I can have it delivered to door for £750

 

Can anyone give some advice

 

I'm not looking to sell loads just trees I take down

I was expecting the cameraman to get a face full of log any minute.

I cant comment on the log splitter but ive got a rock machinary little hand swing lift and i cant fault the quality of the way they make them.

Hi that looks good

 

Two questions

 

 

1. What weight can that lift ?

 

2. I see you have a 125 chipper

 

I also have one but my feed rollers are playing up

They will go around then stop and so on

Sometimes they won't go around at all

Very annoying

Its very handy little thing. It can lift 1000lbs close in and 500lbs at its furthest.

 

I do there good chippers, do they stop completely of just go round really slowly if its just slowly it will be because theres a big lump of wood stuck you just put them in reverse ull see all the big lumps come up them back in forward and all is good.

Looks ok but I doubt it will cope with the more dense timbers such as oak. I'd be concerned about the diameter of the ram. There must be someone on here who has got one.

Speak with Jim at Riko see what Petrol splitters he can do, just tell him your budget. I started with a small electric one which I still have, your welcome to borrow it. Just checked your website, looks good and your only 30miles away.

It is too low down, my back is aching just watching it. It needs some form of table on either side of the splitter so you are not having to keep picking logs off the floor.

I considered a rock splitter the big one but similar vid the guy loads the log then walks round the engine to operate the levers ?!

If I'm splitting I'm not out for a stroll
