I use it as a lanyard with my cinch, I love it, it's a pretty sturdy rope that doesn't twist much. Some ropes seem to love sticking to saw strop but platinum doesn't sounds silly but I noticed a difference :-)

I want to get some static rope for my lanyard. I use blaze but it seems to endlessly get caught on the saw

Are you keeping your saw and lanyard on the same side? If so try switching one to the other side. I discovered many years ago that having the lanyard on the left was just as easy to deal with and ended all kinds of frustration with it getting tangled with saws.

as the title says been using 10mm sirus for a while but was wondering if this rope would be any good?

I've just ordered a length of Platinum from Honeys to try as a lanyard.

Did you get any in the end James?
