Work Experience/Skills:

JUNE 2012 – Current

I am currently working as a self employed contract climber to various different companies in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire mainly specializing in large sectional/rigging jobs and difficult reductions on large dead, dying and dangerous trees. I also advertise and undertake my own work managing my own workload and dealing with customers etc.

January 2011 – JUNE 2012 – B&B Tree Specialists

After recovering from my bike accident, I took a job as a climber at B&B where I gained masses of experience in my first role as solely a climber initially as a trainee. As an arboriculture assosiation accredited company with many large contracts, I worked to a very high standard. After being at the company for over a year and receiving no further training I paid for my own training to progress my career. I was then on occasion appointed as a team leader and was given larger and more difficult jobs to gain experience in a lead role.

Responsibilities:

• Risk Assessments

• Wood chipping and brash clearance

• Tree felling and pruning

• Climbing -sectional felling and dismantling

• Stump grinding

• Tree planting and after care

• Team leader

This term of employment ended on my own accord due to my employer withholding pay

JUNE 2010 – OCTOBER 2010 – Oakwick Utility Arborists Ltd

After a term of being self-employed, I decided to take my passion for tree work a stage further and I took a job at Oakwick where I worked as utility arborist, during my time there I gained a lot of experience as a grounds man and further qualifications in arboriculture.

Responsibilities:

• Tree felling and Pruning

• Wood chipping and Brash clearance

• Risk Assessments

• Saw related Operations(maintenance)

• Nominated Aerial Rescue (within team)

This term of employment was only finished after I had motorcycle accident, after which I was on sick leave when my contract was terminated.

2008 – 2010- Self Employed Landscape Gardener – Terra Firma & Beyond

After completing my first stage of my City & Guilds NPTC’s, I became self employed as a partner with my father in our garden landscape business, Terra Firma & Beyond.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of Tools and Equipment

• Garden & Pond Design

• Hard Landscaping

• Turfing

• Plant & Ground Care

• Garden Maintenance

• Tree Cutting and Pruning

• Hedge Cutting

As I gained more landscape experience I became very interested in tree work, I then decided to put myself through a City & Guilds NPTC in Chainsaw Maintenance, cross cutting and Felling small trees.

Running my own business has given me a wealth of skills, whilst achieving personal goals, looking after my customers and dealing with business on many levels, my people skills are very good.

2007 – Parts Person, H & L Garages Ltd – Mercedes Benz

I joined H & L Garages as parts person in their parts department.

Responsibilities:

• Keeping the parts department running smoothly

• Ordering of stock and stock taking

• Serving customers

• Good all round knowledge of parts

• Delivering parts between company branches

• Stacking and tidying pallets

• Labeling products when needed

If it were me, I wouldn't put your address, phone number and email on a public forum page.

Send it via pm instead, or even better, pm for an email and send it via email.

Everyone can see your info here...
