I think its ONLY the sciatica, not a slipped disc. The pain does go down the LH leg, to the knee. trying to work out how to work with 3 pillows under me knee

Oh thats good news! Don't go for the tramadol then!

Slipped disc would be the same pain but down to your feet and even to your toes, and as said before almost constant. I believe sciatica is caused by stiffness in the sacroiliac joints of the pelvis (I could be wrong) which requires lots of stretching and massage to relieve it and can be a semi permanent condition. Physio not doctors then, good luck.

Dam and blast tis a tad inconvenient to say the least! 8 days to go, hope I can work though it, feel too old right now to put up with it. shooting pain whichever way I try to move. Those of you with even more serious ailments have my sympathy right now. Be felling with a zimmer frame next:001_smile:

i couldnt find my old stretches sheet, but il call my physio tomorrow and see if she can give me a copy. obviously its different for everyone but at least it will get you started. oh and a couple of goes with the old ultrasound machine if the physio has one does wonders in reducing the inflamation

Tbh, I think half my problem is I havent been so busy in the last few months, then to bang into concentrated hard graft has hit me hard. Just a little bit outta shape I suppose. And of course, i aint getting any younger you know:001_tongue:
