Heavy duty progress capture

Can any of you folks recommend something that will capture progress of a 500kg load on a 2 to 1 haul system utilizing 10.5mm polyamide semi static that doesn't have any teeth and does have the option to safely lower off mid haul?

Thanks tree beard but am looking for something "hands off" like pro traxion or wall hauler but with no teeth and also need lowering off option.

Prussic and pulley then i guess, cant think of owt else that would reliably release under load. Some sort of belay rack maybe, but that wouldnt be exactly hands off

Thanks mate but it really needs to be hands off and fairly friction free.

We intend to lift the load 100ft as quickly as possible using a speedboat.

That is a tricky wicket, I think what you need is not a piece of kit but alot of cunning. I'm thinking something along the lines of using one device to perform in the progress capture department, then putting the rope in a lowering bollard/portawrap or what have you and finding some way to release the load of your capturing system so you can lower, possibly utilising a swinging bench and a number of tree climbers...

I like the thought process.

bit concerned about having the load hang on the separate bit of progress capture. Like a Shunt or a Gibbs could handle the haul speed but I'd be worried about devices like that capturing the sheath once loaded but letting the core creep through until the resulting bulge jams the capture device.

A prusik would stop that from happening but theres no way to control it with the rope moving at speed on the haul and you'd probably have to cut it off in order to lower.
