I've had 2 first one wouldn't seem to run right, would tick over fine and rev flat out fine but terrible anywhere in between.

Second one though runs spot on, for such a small saw has loads of power and cuts very well. I knocked this one down to 3/8p chain instead of .325 running a 16 bar can't fault it to be honest. Only on semi chisel chain would like to try it on a full chisel 3/8p chain which is what I think new ones are on now looking in 2013 catalogue other day, should imagine it being even better.

Good saw in my opinion. You can calibrate them if you get one and its not doing great just leave it on choke position for around 30 seconds and sorts itself out usually start and run a lot better after been done from factory setup.

At half a kilo less than a MS261 I'm really glad I bought a MS241, for a full day in the woods that's a heck of a lot of half kilos less to pick up.

I've only really tested mine properly with a 14" .325 Rapid Super chain and it works great.

Cheers
