its a bucket winch without the cable you can just see the hole in the back where the lead goes out there is rollers out there as well -think you can put the cable up and over a pully on top of the dipper -used to pull whole trees off the steep banks to the prossesor

Ok thanks for that don't cut trees down for a living but I like the equipment you lot get to use!

I may take some courses next year though as my business is contract grounds maintenance and I turn all tree work over to others at present.
