damn good saws in their day,my avatar is a 153,133 is 85cc i think,bomb proof saws,well built but parts are hard to get now,keep an an eye out on the bay for parts,maybe even grab them even if you dont need them,always good to have back up bits

Good advice I will keep a eye out, I got it from the bay it starts first time and I totally logged a big ash to splitting size today on its first time out, it's a noisy bugger though even with ear plugs

noise is good,run a good quality 2 stroke mix in the saw, maybe 40/1 mix also (grandmother sucking eggs etc) my 153 suffered with recoil probs due to no decompressor,but apart from that was a good saw,133 is a highly regarded saw,not the fastest beast in the woods but torquey as hell, good luck with it, damn good saws

Thanks mate I used a rich mix to start with, the chap I got it off told me 40:1 but it says 25:1 on the filler cap so went rich with stihl oil. But I will take your advice and go 40s.
