Predator p26

Hi has any used or have a predator p26!what do you think of the predator p26 stump grinder?compared to a Carlton or a Vermeer

If your using it yourself then they are fine, if your letting the lads loose with it then think again.

 

They are ok but need a careful operator, we tend to get through a few drive belts.

The one I used a few years back was awful, the hydraulic driven cutter wheel had no torque atall, the hydraulics as a whole were far too aggressive and had no dexterity to them and the multi tooth system is a silly idea and expensive. The colour was nice!

Carlton is a good solid machine. I have a Rayco 1645 which is good

I have a P26 & a Carlton 4012 for sale but think the Bandit is better.

Hi mark had a Vermeer ok machine. Prediter never heard a good report about them. CALTON and bandit old machines almost the same machine. The new 2250 bandit great machine, I put mine out on hire and have no problems. Belt less drive, engine is sat on the back of the machine not on the head great for stabilaty.

Thanks for the replys!i were going to look in to a bandit!i have herd alot of good things about the cuttingedge!i hire a ryco 1625 jnr nd it never comes with sharp teeth theres always sumthing rong with it!theres no were else local to hire them! it's just finding 1 at the right money but its like anything you get what you pay for
