Informative programe was on this eve showing the Pbs the grey are causing the native red ones, they die a horrible death from a pox virus the grey ones carry. The rules of engagment were explained and it is game on.

Btw have a look at the comments on

i am sure the ones in power are starting to notice the population are getting restless.

Watched that show, the bloke doing the conservation was very passionate about getting rid of the greys and keeping the reds!!!!!!!!! A bit mad aswell!!!!

I control grey squirrels as part of my job.on 27 over the last 3 weeks been using fens in boxes and cage traps in a good year i get about 70 .anyone else do trapping and what traps do you use ?heard a tree trap good but havent used one myself

:thumbup1:good job dean thats alot of tree rats,on beaters day we get them to shoot out the dreys but have to be carefull as found dormouse nests very simalar looking in honeysucle up in trees.

Problem is you never seem to thin them out, their numbers never seem to get any less.
