Go pro keeps freezing

This among with a whole load of others problems is known about the 3. I have the black and mine froze a lot on a recent trip to the States. The best fix is to remove the battery and restart. This is all well and good if you have time on your hands, not so good when your trying capture some action, you can't exactly ask everyone to stop for a minute.

 

They released a new firmware and a letter of apology from the CEO but its still not right and I think further releases are due. There is a GoPro forum with quite a list of issues on it, makes for depressing reading..

 

On a positive note, when it does behave the footage is great and as everything is firmware driven these days I'm sure they will sort it soon.
