KIDD sawbench

[Fencing]

Hi Guys, just about to change the blade on a KIDD PTO driven sawbench,,, any one know the process? (ive tried to get a manual but cant find one)

 

Also anyone know the size of the nut that holds the blade on?

Ive got one too and from memory just take the top guard off and it unbolts just under the table and pops out, take mine off most years for a sharpen and cant remember it being a ballache!

Well,

The only way i could figure it,

Un did the top guard (plate that runs along next to the blade)

Undid the both that holds the blade on (55mm)

Then found the blade wouldnt come out without unbolting the blade brake, 2 bolts that pops off.

Then take the blade out.
