Yew wood

Hi there ,just thought i would add a thread here as i have quite a bit of yew kicking around,i have cordwood,a few trunks and some planks ,anyone intrested?

Tried offering some last year; turners, carvers etc. The reply was always the same - sorry but there's loads of it about.

How big are the trunks & how much will you want for them?

2-3 ft across no rot,£40 a trunk or something,ud have to have a look,and make me an offer,thanks dan

Could also be interested if Tommy isn't, always looking for yew, and any other 'interesting' wood for furniture making and turning purposes, ideally in the south east of England. Any chance of a photo or telling us how long they are? Thanks

you have some realy nice bits of wood down the yard last time i went down there dan. Have you been on the mizer again??

yeah been havin a bit of a flex stu,did you fell that big redwood over the conservatory how did it go
