does any one know who carved the owl on the old tree outside tesco,s at burseldon done a few years back but a nice job made out of a tree which had its top snapped off in the gales. always wanted to know who carver was

will have to take a trip and see if i can find any marks on who the artist is and get some photo,s but a nice job. or ring bp maybe not can see being on phone all day trying to find correct department

Drove past it today. I grew up just down the road. It must have been there 10-15 years now.

We do some stuff for BP. I'll make a couple of calls and see what comes up.

Dear all, sorry for the late reply...

 

I was with the Countryside Service at Eastleigh when this was carved. It was carved by Paul Sivell: http://www.thecarvedtree.co.uk/

 

He came over from the Isle of Wight.
