Todays excitement was the timber trailer falling into old mine workings, the crane is lent against the tree, low gear and 4wd and difflock and it managed to pull it,s self out.

It was the roof of an old drift mine tunnel that collapsed under the weight of the trailer as i reversed, no wonder this woodland is fairly dry, tunnels are acting as drains, this is the 2nd collapse in this wood.

Is that the ex Andover trailer. If it sits idle for a few days robins nest in the crane mast.

It is, all our machinery lives indoors so have no problem with nesting birds, I do get Robins perching on the backlights of the tractor, while i,m operating the crane.
