does facebook advertising really work??

i find ad words hit or miss,had 70 odd clicks in dec and an £81 bill, 0 calls/emails. This month 3 calls/emails and a whopping Ash to remove on Thurs! Wouldnt not be on it,but is frustrating at times

Hi all,

A quiet start to the week today, a couple of quotes to do this morning, run to the bank etc etc, then looked into advertising, does facebook really work???

 

anyway, thought it was worth a gamble as its free so russled up a page.

spent an hour or two uploading a few pic etc so please tell me what you think,

I would say yes - just liked your page

 

Certainly if you consider e.g. 100 friends like yr page and can suggest their friends to and so on. It gives a quick link to see what you do and is free after all. Nice one

why look to pay for things that you can use word of mouth to do for free.

 

Having your own page is free, banner advertising on FB is the same as pay per click. However you can target your audience much better than pay per click.

I recently set up a page for my business, no work from Facebook as yet.. But as its been said, it's free!

Just be careful, I'm not sure you're allowed to put a company name/logo in the cover photo.

Hi Josh, I have started using it for Vermeer UK so please check it out and see what you think.

But for my previous company as a tree surgeon I used it and it was actually very helpful in boosting our online presence and moving us up on the Google search. once its all set up its pretty easy to maintain and I think people like to see photos of what you can do. Hope this helps!

You can put a cap on the amount you pay though I think!
