Poplar Wanted - South West

Hi All,

 

I'm in the market for some Poplar (or alternative free / very-low value timber) for own-use firewood.

 

Can collect very locally with tractor (South Glos area), pay for delivery or will arrange own haulage within reasonable radius.

 

Not overly worried on size - we have loader, large saws, splitter etc so bigger the better within reason!

Cheers but Dartmoor may be a bit heavy on the haulage side? Any idea what the going rate per mile for an artic in your area?

This makes a change, normally can not get rid of it for love nor money.

Shame you are closer to west Wales, as i have about 300 cube that nobody wants.

We are now running several wood burners around the farm and just need volume of cheap and cheerful wood!

 

Hopefully something is available in the locality.
