Clitocybe gibba - Funnel Cap

Gymnopillus junonius - Spectacular rustgill

Russula sp - possibly R. virescens

Hygrocybe sp - Wax cap

Mycena pura - Lilac bell cap

Merripilus giganteus - giant polypore - on dead Hornbeam stool

Griffola frondosa - Hen of the woods

& Laetiporus sulphureus - Chicken of the woods

 

 

These and many more all seen over the last couple of days.

 

Truly is the season to see.............

Possibly Suillus collinitus, located near Pines and Cedar.

Not sure about this one thinking Fistulina hepatica (Beefsteak Fungus)

seems to be in the wrong place, too high and too far out on the limb.

1 & 2 Pholiota squarrosa, parasytic on Plane

3 & 4 Pholiota squarrosa, parasytic on Red Oak

5, 6 & 7 Pholiota squarrosa, parasytic on Lucombe Oak

8, 9 & 10 Lycoperdon perlatum saprophytic on roots & stump

11 & 12 Rigidoporus ulmarius, parasytic on Horse Chestnut

13 & 14 Ganoderma applanatum tiers, saprophytic on decayed trunk

15, 16 & 17 Amanita muscaria mycorrhizal on Birch roots
