boots are there for scale....i'm a size 10 and dont happen to carry action men about!!

 

Havent seen any dryadeus.....though havent spent much time in there lately. Seems a little slow on the fungal frontline at the mo from what i can see.

 

Since your oak polypore find I have been waiting to see nigel resident ecologist and the man in the know to find out where they are so i can go and looky looky. Apparently there are 2 trees?

supposedly Laetiporus based on micro annalysis, but nothing like any Laeti I've ever come across.

 

But as Tony & others often say, these fung don't do stereo type.
