Ganoderma resinaceum

 

Cheers for that :thumbup1:. I had a feeling it may be ganoderma lucidum. But was lacking any stalk so gave up trying to id.

If it hasnt a stalk but looks like lucidum its always going to be resinaceum, lucidum doesnt get as big as resinaceum iether, resinaceum is a huge bracket sometimes. lucidum tends to be no bigger than an open hand

Resinacium hosted on Red Oak. down for a reduction next week.

 

 

Adspersum (?) Hosted with hollowed Hornbeam stem with adventitious root.
