Hakki Pilke 37 Question

After spilling logs all afternoon, on the last log I've got the splitter ram “locked” onto a log which it is unable to push through the splitting wedge. No obvious function to retract the ram - is there a way to relieve the pressure on the ram without disconnecting the oil pipe?

Can't remember how but I'm sure you can 'cancel' the ram operation somehow to retract the ram. Steve Bullman is the man for Hakki Pilkes.

Brilliant - thanks for the quick response; the processor was borrowed for the weekend and I was sure there must be a mechanism for retracting the ram.
