The Leupold I bought turns off after 5 mins so it once again depends on what you spend,

Jon get a Meopta for your budget they are about the best,

 

ive never used one but the writeup seems good you could do worse id get one and 50 mtrs should be ok from what ive read.

If your lamping wide angle and a good sized scope would be good :)

HI TREE yes needs very wide angles years ago i had a very good simmons scope it for rat shooting mate thanks jon :thumbup:
