I am running a AGS 4-16x56 SWAT on the Rapid 17 and it works at very well at low light ...and anything in between. A good mid range scope without getting stupid with the flexi friend IMHO More than enough for 50 yd work.

have you ever thought of a laser dot?

 

I think i would go down this route for an Air rifle, dot on plink, easy as pie no worries on light issues, most easy go distance you will be shooting.

 

get it clamped well and it would be cool
