Just got hold of him. Hes almost as wooden as the timber hes selling! I'm going to meet him tomorrow to have a look at the timber. Is there anything i should look at in particular as i've never inspected timber to buy before.

Try Angus Biofules they are in Padanaram near Forfar thet have about 10,000 tun sat in the yard ready to be chipped and they are really helpful.

Hi all,

What's the secret to getting a delivery from Dundee Council. I've been on the waiting list for just over 3 years and I've had 2 deliveries, the last one was just over 2 years ago. I've called them several times since June last year- I understand that the deliveries are a low priority for them-and I'm still waiting. It's a great service 9-10 tonnes delivered to your door and the wood is great value, but it's so frustrating not knowing when you'll get a delivery!!!

 

Does anyone know of anyone else in Tayside who can provide a bulk delivery?
