They went to the expense of putting that building up why didn't they build it with pilkington self cleaning glass.

 

I was told you need water to activate the self cleaning glass, don't think the desert has a lot of that.

Years ago in a past life I worked for a double glazing company making these units.

 

It was expensive stuff and there was always someone trying to put the coating to the inside of the unit !! That's how I got into horticulture as quality controlling all these expensive coatings and just the handling of them was becoming a nightmare.

 

I'm sure the designers of that building were using the finest materials. From what they showed of the inside it looks rather nice. One of those things you have to see before you die me thinks.
