How do I change rubber manifold on ms200t?

Got a huge split in the rubber manifold on my top handle ms 200t. I can't find any tutorial on the web but someone on Arbtalk mentioned it was v easy. Some rough guidance would be great.

You will need to take the carb off and the handle that's attached to the body of the saw, prize off the fitted plastic that holds the rubber manifold onto the inlet of the cylinder, carefully un-attach the earth and live wire that connects to the switch mechanism inside the handle, pull the handle away then pull the split rubber manifold out, squeeze the new rubber through the aperture of the handle making sure the hole in the side of the rubber matches up than re-attach the handle making sure that the fitted plastic is over the rubber first, this is then used to squeeze down the rubber onto the inlet manifold of the saw, make sure it fits flush.

 

Care is needed if you have to dismantle the handle to re-attach the wires, ALWAYS take the orange on/off switch off first before undoing any other screws in the handle if you don't the switch mechanism will fly off all over the place.

 

The other way is to take the carb off, un-attach the fitted plastic that holds the rubber in place, remove the split rubber, attach new rubber making sure it fits flush then feed some wire through the back of the handle, loop it around the new rubber boot and pull it out through the back of the handle, re-attach carb.

I favour this method(no need to dissmantle fiddly handle) but prefer to use a piece of oiled string rather wire, especially if its your first time, as its less likely to tear at the rubber. Just feed it through the base plate, take 1 1/2 wraps around the manifold under the lip, and pull it gently through.
