I have got a Hakki Pilke 1x37.

After using it for 3 hours running ok, the ram started to cycle backwards and forwards all of the time without stopping.

We have been clearing out underneath it so there was no sawdust blocking it.

Any advice or help would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

theres a little nut somewhere that burrs and needs filing round. I forget exactly where. I had the exact same problem as this and started the same thread a few years ago which contains the full answer. I'll try and dig it out.......

Try turning the bolt round one flat often cures it. I would get some spare bolts from memory they are higher tensile strength than normal bolts and although under virtually no strain ours used to shear off occassionally.
