anyone want to do recreational/practice climbing London&surrounding?

the sun is out, just done my IRATA lev 1 so been indoors with no saw all week, got my 39 assessment tomorrow, does anyone want to meet up EC1 in the next hour or two?

hi guys,

 

how close to london do you whant to go??? i can sway a place near southend, i can get you a place in suffolk.

 

theres some trees at caple but the only two really worth the climb are the zelcova and the plane, and as stated caple may be a bit tied down with health and safty, i can have a chat with stewart, many moons ago i used to lecture there and stuart the now head of school was my technisian.....

 

if you fancy a trip to essex or suffolk let me know

Stewart Bonnet? Worth an ask, but I don't think any of the tutors would be allowed to let us climb what with health and safety being even stricter in College etc.

 

Essex or Suffolk is fine with me, people have mentioned Epping Forest too, it depends on what other people want to do, I'm pretty flexible :wink:

Well if no one is going to do anything about it I suggest a poll. to decide where and when. I still think Eppings a good bet. We could meet by the pub their plenty of places to park and good trees to climb :001_cool::001_smile:
