In the spring i cut down an ash tree logged in & split it then left it to season. Ive just come to bring some inside & noticed it has what looks like woodworm?? It looks like the beadle that just affect ash some one will be along shortly to give you the proper name. They just eat into the bark not the wood its in every bit of ash cord in the yard

Yup it's the dreaded ash Beatle lol! I've got it in all my ash, stacked next to all my other wood that is completely untouched.

 

If u are worried at all only take in what wood u r burning for that night.
