Greenteeth for Carlton SP7015TRX

I have had this machine for 10 months and have now run out of greenteeth, so I ordered some (900 series) only to find that the ones that were delivered are smaller and have a 16mm nut on them. I know they are not 700 series because i also ordered some of these as well, for another machine. I am guessing that the ones on my grinder are 1100 series, they have a 19mm nut on them. On the Greenteeth website it say's that they should be 900 but

the grinder works really well as it is, so i am not bothered if they are,

I was just wondering if anyone had come across this.

I used to use 1100 series on my previous 60 horsepower carlton because I thought the machine was suited to them.I found when grinding big poplars they dragged and the pulpy wood took the torque out of the engine.After experimenting I eventually used the 900 series and realised that greenteeth were correct in suggesting 900,series.After five years of using greenteeth the 900,s allow a faster cut with less weight and drag.It is a mistake in my opinion to use the 1100s.Incidentally you must always keep them sharp.

I know 1100,s look great but I would not use them.Speak to Peter at Plant and Quarry for good teeth and pockets at a dam good price.Loved my old deutz, experimenting with the best setup on the razor system on the new machine.Hope You find your ideal setup.

All sorted now, will be sticking with the 1100 for now, due to Plant & Quarrys efficiency at sending out replacement teeth. Will look into the cost of 900 series pockets. Had a quote for a sandvik wheel but at £4500.00 I will leave it for now.
